Admissions Training and Exchange Meeting

To further enhance our school's enrollment work and strengthen the professional training of our admissions team, City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) held an Admissions Training and Exchange Meeting on the morning of April 17, 2024. The meeting was attended by all admissions work leaders and staff, and was chaired by the Acting Chancellor, Lu Chun.

He highlighted that leveraging the Songshan Lake Science City, which is the pilot zone of the national science centre in the Greater Bay Area, has positioned the university as a crucial hub for industry-academic-research cooperation, offering students a rich and inspiring learning experience. He emphasised that admissions publicity should adhere to the essence of education, be student-centred, and closely align with the school's high-quality development goals, injecting new vitality into the admissions efforts.

Following this, Party Branch Secretary Zhao Yi shared experiences from Guangdong's admissions efforts, Deputy Director Wang Zhenhong discussed strategies from Henan, and Yan Tao shared exhibition strategies and techniques from a Sichuan perspective. In addition to regional experiences, Pan Yuxiang elaborated on common issues encountered during the admissions process and their solutions, while the Director of Finance, Huang Cheng, interpreted financial matters related to admissions from a financial perspective. Lastly, the Director of Admissions, Yin Rongrong, reminded everyone of other considerations essential to ensure that every detail of the admissions process is meticulously handled.
