JUPAS Scholarship for Freshmen (Applicable to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese Joint Entrance Examination Applicants)
Two levels of Entrance Scholarship for new students will be awarded based on the applicant's JUPAS results:
"Outstanding Scholarship": RMB 180,000 per year
Qualifications: The total score ranking for the liberal arts and science categories, as well as the engineering and technology categories, in the Joint Entrance Examination is in the top 200.
"Merit Scholarship": RMB 120,000 per year
Qualifications: The total score ranking for the liberal arts and science categories, as well as the engineering and technology categories, in the Joint Entrance Examination is in the top 300.
All eligible students will be automatically included in the assessment of the above scholarships and do not need to apply separately.
Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) Entrance Scholarship Scheme
Scholarship Conditions:
- Applicants must be Hong Kong residents who have successfully sat for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination.
- Applicants must be duly admitted to City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan).
- Applicants must have a DSE score of the specified high standard.
Scholarship level and amount
City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) awards two levels of scholarship to freshmen based on applicants' "DSE" scores:
"Outstanding Scholarship": RMB 180,000 per year
The HKDSE examination requirement: 3 core subjects + 2 elective subjects with an overall score of 30
"Merit Scholarship": RMB 120,000 per year
The HKDSE requirements are: 3 core subjects + 2 elective subjects with an overall score of 25
Taiwan Academic Test Score Entrance Freshman Scholarship
"Scholarship for Freshmen with Academic Test Results" (Applicable to Taiwan Academic Test Applicants)
City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) awards two levels of scholarship to freshmen based on applicants' "academic test" results:
"Outstanding Scholarship": RMB 180,000 per year
The minimum academic requirements are: the top standard of four subjects in the academic test
"Merit Scholarship": RMB 120,000 per year
The minimum academic requirements are: three subject top marks and one front mark
*Both scholarship English subjects are compulsory and must be the top standard.
All eligible students will be automatically included in the assessment of the above scholarships and do not need to apply separately.
